By accessing or enrolling in any course offered by SQMI (Safety and Quality Management Institute), you agree to follow the terms below. These terms apply to all students, website users, and clients engaging with SQMI services.

1. Course Enrollment

All students must complete the registration process and provide accurate information.
Your enrollment is only confirmed after payment is received (full or agreed deposit).
SQMI reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on course availability and eligibility.

2. Payment Terms

Full payment or a minimum deposit (as agreed) is required to secure your seat in a course.
The remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid before the final week of training or examination.
All payments are non-refundable unless SQMI cancels the course (see Section 7).

3. Course Delivery

Courses may be delivered online, in-person, or blended, depending on the program.
SQMI may change the format, venue, or schedule in cases of unavoidable circumstances.
Students must have stable internet and devices for online programs. SQMI is not responsible for connection issues on the student’s side.

4. Certificates

Certificates are awarded only to students who successfully complete the training and meet the assessment or exam requirements.
Delays in certificates due to third-party exam bodies (e.g., NEBOSH, PMI) are beyond SQMI’s control.
Lost certificates may require reissuance fees from the awarding body.

5. Code of Conduct

All students must behave respectfully towards trainers, staff, and fellow learners.
Disruptive behavior may lead to removal from the course without a refund.
Plagiarism, cheating, or misuse of SQMI materials is strictly prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, videos, and handouts remain the property of SQMI or its partners.
Students may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any training materials without written permission.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

By SQMI:

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment or force majeure (e.g., political unrest, health crises).
If cancelled, students will receive a full refund or can transfer to a future session.

By Student:

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 5 days before the course start date.
No refunds for cancellations within 5 days or after course access/materials are shared.

8. Limitation of Liability

SQMI is not responsible for any job outcome, salary expectation, or visa approval after course completion.
We provide quality training but cannot guarantee employment, certification pass rates, or external body processing times.
SQMI will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Use of Website

By using the SQMI website:

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt hacking, or extract student data.
You agree not to copy, scrape, or republish content without permission.
We may update pricing, course content, or policies at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any legal disputes will be handled by a competent court within the Republic of Cameroon.
